If you were tempted by Arthur's advertisement in the '750 Club magazine, this is what you got (most fixings included)
for just under £60. No wonder a number of chassis were sold and never seen again, it took a lot of skill and enthusiasm to
produce the finished U2.

The car on the right was the 'Vanford U2' built by
Derek Clark and John Hestletine. It was the first customer U2 to be completed and raced
but probably not the first replica chassis sold. John and Derek have given us a wealth of information and photographs and became
Life Members of the Mallock Club in 2006.
