Petrolhead's Picnic
An amazing array of cars and motorcycles descended on Chalfont St. Giles on Saturday to celebrate the first Mallock Club
Petrolhead's Picnic.
Dick Mallock's idea for a motorcycle ride was enthusiastically embraced by club member Marcus Bicknell and developed into
a superb vehicle display, prize-giving, barbecue and games afternoon at his Buckinghamshire home.
Alex Osborne, Caldwell Smythe and Richard Mallock were among the modern motorcyclists whilst Tony Osborne (Norton Dominator)
and Tony Pouyanne (Triumph 500) represented the iconic 'ton-up' days.
In the cars section Charlie Mallock's Herald was only just pipped in the 'Concours de Elegance' competition by Tom Commander's
Rolls, a genuine AC Cobra and a stunning open top Mercedes.
Tom showed some form on the croquet lawn while others took a more relaxed view of the game!
The sun shone, the odd glass was raised and the puddings were wonderful. Thank-you Suzy!!!!
