The 50 year celebration has started !!….

.........A steady stream of Mallock enthusiasts, past and present, visited the Mallock Club stand at Race Retro 2008 at the week-end.

Over 50 wrote in the Visitors book and gave us information to help trace the ancestry of certain cars . We were also greatly encouraged by the enthusiasm for the 50th celebrations at Silverstone in August.

Chris Burnham reported that we made contact with U2 owners from Canada and the USA as well as some well known owners from the past.

Classic Mk.6

The stand featured Ray Mallock's fabulous little Mk 6 that was driven by Mallock Club life-member Max Mosley at the Clubmans anniversary parade in 2005.

Stunning Mk.21 on Spax stand

On the Spax stand in an adjacent hall, the Bob Crozier Classic A Sport Mk21 was the star exhibit.

The car had a fabulous new paint job and is one of the best looking Mallock's that your webmaster has ever seen. The car is to be raced at Thruxton 23rd/24th March after its shakedown test with Richard and Bob at Donington on Thursday.

Our thanks go to Chris Burnham and his family for the tremendous effort they put into designing, installing and running the Mallock Club stand at Race Retro 2008.
We also thank John Bailey, Richard and Sue Mallock and Dave Boote for their help in manning the stand during the three days of the exhibition.
